Creative Crafts and Easter Celebrations
At Winchester Terrace, we cherish the power of creativity in promoting health and wellness among our senior community. Each month, we immerse ourselves in crafting activities like illustration and paper art, which have been a wonderful way to boost motor skills, spark creativity, and encourage social interaction. This April, we added a festive twist to our crafts by embracing the vibrant pastels and cheerful bunny and egg shapes for Easter. The holiday spirit was in full bloom when the Easter Bunny paid us a surprise visit, bringing smiles, laughter, and a touch of childhood wonder to the hearts of all our residents.
Embracing Earth Day with Heart
Another special moment from April was our celebration of Earth Day on the 22nd. Earth Day holds a special place in our hearts, as it reminds us of the importance of caring for our beautiful planet. We spent the day sharing meaningful conversations about how small acts like picking up litter and recycling can make a big difference. It was a lovely time for all of us to reflect on our shared responsibility and commitment to nurturing the Earth for generations to come.
