  Our experience here at Winchester has been great. Everyone from the nurses, the aides, the dietary staff and even the custodians have just been awesome with my mom she has mid-stage Alzheimer's and could not stand for more than 30 seconds at the hospital, they had to use a hoyer to move her from bed to chair. Now working with therapy there she is now able to stand with assistance hold on to a walker pivot and sit down in a chair or on the toilet. Her legs are very swollen and this is a struggle we will continue to deal with at home. Everyone has been caring and I could not ask for a better place for her to be right now. I watch and listen as to how the other residents are treated you never know if your parent or loved one is being treated well at that time because you're there but I hear and see respect for all the patients from the staff.

  Our experience with this nursing home was outstanding. They were very attentive to my mother in her last days and made sure she was clean, calm & comfortable. The staff, even the maintenance man continuously asked if we needed anything … More or if there was something they could do. I would highly recommend Winchester Terrace. Tho my mother's stay was short, I am very pleased with the care she received in her last days.

  Winchester Terrace is a beautiful facility with an exceptional staff who are all compassionate and go above and beyond for the residents that live there. Staff treat residents like family. Their therapy department is top notch.
